Kitten Solloway & The Keepin' Cozy Show

The Keepin' Cozy Show with Kitten Solloway: "The Greatest Show Never Written"

An improvised evening with "Hollywood's Most Available Ingenue"  Kitten Solloway (Annie-Sage Whitehurst).

"The Keepin' Cozy Show" is an improvised 1950s television special hosted by the critically over-looked (but clinically under-diagnosed) Kitten Solloway.

After early shows on @SociallyDistantImprov, "The Keepin' Cozy Show" first appeared in-person though The Players Theatre Residency.

Past guests include actor/improvisers Langston Belton, Josh Flitter, Maggie Metnick, Josh Hurley, Florence Friebe, Sal Joseph, Nanette Deasy and Graceann Dorse, writers Rory Scholl, Adin Lenahan and Michelle Drozdick, musician Robert Price, and more.

Kitten Solloway as an improvised character has performed at venues across NYC, including:

AsylumNYC  · The People's Improv Theatre · The Brick · Young Ethel's ·  City Reliquary · Q. E. D.

Follow @kittensolloway for special announcements, exclusive content & more.

ALL THE WAY SOLLOWAY PRODUCTIONS

ALL THE WAY SOLLOWAY is an extension of Annie-Sage Whitehurst and the world of Kitten Solloway. Established in 2022 with the first staged performance of "The Keepin' Cozy Show with Kitten Solloway",  ALL THE WAY SOLLOWAY has produced six performances in a blackbox theatre and one micro-short film.

Outside of performance, ALL THE WAY SOLLOWAY is the umbrella under which Whitehurst creates and manipulates media, props, and design around the fictional, historically-inspired character.

Objects range from promotional (a Kitten-endorsed candy bar) to ephemeral (a "misprinted" calendar with distorted photographs, created in collaboration with photographer Pedro Lee), to personal (Kitten's handbag).

Quarantine Livestream Highlights

Kitten's First 21st Century Appearance:

Keepin' Cozy with Kitten on @SociallyDistantLive

An un-hinged & unscripted interactive livestream Thursday's at 6 pm in 2020/2021

Catch Hollywood's most available ingenue Kitten Solloway live on IG for an intimate dose of showbiz, self-care, existentialism and maybe some news from Martha, her long-since abandoned maid and definitely just her maid...?

What started as an advice show quickly devolved into a deeper look at the sad and sinister mind of an unemployed actor. What's worse is Kitten's recent abandonment by her "maid" Martha.  Where has she gone? Why won't Kitten just admit she loves her? And what's in that glass?

Each episode is completely improvised, and whatever is said becomes true for Kitten and Martha's world.   Each week features a special guest and hopefully, a step forward in returning Martha to her one true heart - er, home.

  • Freshly abandoned, Kitten recreates her favorite play as a one-woman show: "No Exit".
  • Kitten gets audition updates from her-agent/nephew, Bartholemew (Maggie Metnick)
  • Kitten reconnects with her old friend and eccentric director, Horace Goldstein (Josh Flitter)
  • Kitten seeks solace and gets some big news from her friend/therapist Georgie Onassis (Eme Bentancur)
  • Kitten gets a surprising offer from old friend and "consultant" Carmine Limoncello (Sal Joseph)
  • Kitten rebrands as Kitten Who Cares?! and is interrupted by - her conscience.
  • Kitten reconnects with her atrocious cousin Angie (Becky Goodman)
