This mockumentary follows Derek, a 30something recently quarantined in his apartment due to Covid-19. Unfortunately for him, he's not alone. Created by and starring Sal Joseph as Derek and Annie-Sage Whitehurst as Evie.

"Rodney" Opening Scene (feature teaser)

When a falling-out costs director Rodney her lead actress, she struggles to maintain control over her production, personal life, and paranoia. Set in New York's off-off-off-Broadway queer theatre scene, this comedic thriller follows a charismatic but obsessive director who will do anything to protect her artistic vision.

This is the feature-length continuation of "Rodney at 3:00am" (written by/starring Whitehurst, Sequestered Film Festival 2020).

Filmed on a phone, this feature teaser is the opening scene of "Rodney", with writer/actor Annie-Sage Whitehurst playing against type in the title role.

It's going to take more than a 16-hour drive, a pandemic, MAGA creeps and the National Guard to keep these best friends apart.

This trailer was shot completely in quarantine, and is Annie-Sage's first experiment with filming and editing a green screen.
