An Exhibition of Intimate Objects at the Butt Museum

Come celebrate a scholarly showcase of posterior perplexity, a collection of theatrical performances certain to delight your derriere, tickle your tuchus, and inspire your arse. Welcome to the Butt Museum.
The evening will happen May 6th. Doors open at 8PM with the show beginning at 8:30PM. Tickets are $10 in advance and may be obtained at www.bit.do/buttmuseum.  Tickets are $12 at the door with a one drink minimum.


Brain Melt Consortium is proud to present An Exhibition of Intimate Objectsat The Butt Museum, an immersive evening of multidisciplinary performance coming to Lovecraft Bar (50 Avenue B) on May 6th, 8:30pm. Inspired by a list of the craziest objects that were really surgically removed from real rectums, this night of multidisciplinary performances is dedicated to the artistic exploration of interior exploration gone wrong. Including burlesque, short plays, live music and more!

Artists contributing original work include: Kelsey Bowens, Ben Ferber, Rachel Kerry, Judith Leora, Michael Niederman, Paul Markert with Joey Maran and Amanda Ariel Peggy Xeller, Jon Rentler, Christine Schisano, Ellen Steves and boom! theater company, Ariel Speed Wagon, and Annie-Sage Whitehurst.

Additionally featuring the talents of Lori Felipe-Barkin, Blaze Ferrer, Bernard Davis, Holland Hamilton, Jenny Hann, Lani Harmsturing, Miranda Jean Larson, Tyler Kimball, Rory Allan Meditz, Ian Prince, Alex Randrup, Chris Smith.
An Exhibition of Intimate Objects at the Butt Museum is conceived and curated by Annie-Sage Whitehurst and Rachel Kerry/Brain Melt Consortium. Brain Melt Consortium is an award-winning theatre and multimedia production group interested in creating projects that engage audiences in new and evocative ways. Its shows have been produced in The New York International Fringe, FRIGID New York, and the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe. Additionally, BMC produces staged readings, interactive concept parties, web series, and the monthly surreal comedy/variety show Pop Culture Fondue.
